RAPS working policies and platform for the Spill elections

We are working on the a RAPS statement for members who are asking what our policies are. We welcome your input.

  1. A representative board for all members in all states
  2. One tier for all psychologists (like the psychiatrists) with matrix of item numbers for type of sessions (initial, assessment, long, short, etc.)
  3. Affordable bridging pathways to all colleges for all members
  4. Lobbying universities to promote full range of psychology courses to bring back the richness of the profession
  5. Fairer APS fee structure – Affordable conferences,
  6. General Psychology College
  7. Bringing back to the APS disaffected members e.g. AAPi members
  8. More open member involvement in the society – no more shoulder tapping
